More Savasana time!
As you might expect of a Slow Flow & Restore Yoga Teacher, Liz really enjoys the slower pace of life. Lockdown has offered her time to reconnect with herself and pick up her daily yoga routine. More Savasana time! A big advantage is that many international yoga teachers moved their education program towards the online screen. Liz is studying Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater in California, Breathing with Ben Wolff in London, and traditional Hatha Yoga with Swami Govindananda in India! “These days it’s easy to feel connected to the whole world.” She continues her daily pranayama and asana practices, helping heer feel joyful, energized and focused on the positive.
When Liz is not doing yoga you can find her walking around. At the Kralingse plas, Vroesenpark or Park Zestienhoven listening to podcasts. Her current favorite is Album to Album with Arasalan Mohammed, “for the serious David Bowie fans”, and WTF with Marc Maron. In this podcast you can find an interview with Daniel Lanois. He is a Canadian music producer, who you might be unknowingly listening to when taking Liz’ classes. Another cool interview is the one with Mandy Patankin.
Lastly Liz loves drawing and watching television. Her Netflix recommendation is a special one: Blown Away, “a Canadian glass blowing competition show that is totally gripping. Yes, reality TV about making glass, check it out. I dare you not to binge it!”
