Yasser
For Yasser, movement is an anchor — a way to reconnect with his body and reset his mind. Whether through yoga, boxing, or functional training, it helps him process stress, build resilience, and express himself physically. For him, movement goes far beyond fitness: it’s nervous-system regulation, focus, and freedom.
His coaching approach is rooted in curiosity and deep self-education. Over the years, he explored movement science, biomechanics, and neurology through study, coaching, and hands-on experience with clients. A defining milestone was his 30-week Milo Education EREPS Level 3 & 4 certification in 2024 at Vondelgym, which strengthened his holistic understanding of physical training and the nervous system. That knowledge now shapes how he trains — and how he teaches others to move with awareness.
Raised in Rotterdam with Moroccan roots, Yasser’s multicultural world shaped how he thinks, moves, and teaches. As a kid, he spent hours watching Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Van Damme films with his parents, copying moves in the living room — shadowboxing, flying kicks, and playful chaos. That spark never faded; it simply evolved into purpose. Today, Morocco remains his favorite destination — a place where desert silence, wild ocean cliffs, and deep family connection bring him back to himself. In Rotterdam, you’ll find him grabbing coffee in the center, running along the Maas, training with colleagues, or finding nature in Het Park or Kralingse Bos.
