ISABEL
Isabel began her yoga journey in 2011, completing a Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga Vinyasa training with YogaLondon. Before teaching yoga, she trained as a professional dancer at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance and worked as a dancer in the UK, a foundation that has deeply informed her movement practice ever since.
Living and teaching in London and later Leeds opened Isabel up to a rich variety of styles and teachers. She immersed herself in Mysore, Jivamukti, and Rocket Yoga across and taught yoga at a range of studios and gyms. She had the opportunity to study with renowned teachers including David Life and Sharon Gannon (Jivamukti), David Swenson, Dharma Mittra, and Eyal Sheharanowski. Over the years, Isabel has taught classes and workshops across the UK, Spain, the Netherlands, Montenegro, and Croatia.
Isabel later encountered Forrest Yoga, a strong, deeply intentional form of Hatha Yoga developed by Ana Forrest, combining precise alignment, long-held poses, hands-on assists, and an emphasis on emotional awareness. As a dancer with hypermobility and a history of injury, Forrest Yoga became a turning point in how Isabel understood both her body and her inner world. She went on to complete Teacher Training with Ana Forrest herself, and has continued her development through ongoing trainings with the Forrest Yoga Guardians.
She has also trained in Thai Yoga Massage, both in Thailand and in London with Kira Balaskas.
