Aisyah
For Aisyah, yoga is a practice of gratitude. It reminds her to appreciate her body through every season of life. More than a physical practice, yoga helps her stay connected to herself — a connection that naturally extends to the people around her. Whether on or off the mat, mindfulness plays a central role in how she moves through life.
Originally from Singapore, Aisyah moved to Rotterdam in 2024, bringing along one very important companion: her cat. Together, they’ve been settling into life in the Netherlands and discovering a new sense of home. One thing that always brings her joy? Good food. You can count on a little happy dance whenever she eats something delicious.
Aisyah completed her 200-hour Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Align Studio in Singapore and deepened her knowledge through a 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Sampoorna Yoga. Her classes combine mindful awareness with a steady, accessible approach, creating a space where students can practise with presence and curiosity.
When it comes to travel, Aisyah finds herself drawn to places that balance energy and ease. Bangkok and Costa Brava are tied for the top spot: one for its vibrant streets and incredible food culture, the other for its slower rhythm and coastal charm. Her ideal trip includes sunshine, good meals, and plenty of time to wander without a plan.
What she loves most about Rotterdam is its openness and diversity. On a sunny afternoon, you’ll likely find her walking around with an iced matcha in hand before settling down along Little C to soak up as much sunshine as the Dutch summer allows.
